Gaming Production Team MAXBEAT Philippines will officially open the MX Gaming Grounds (MXGG) on Saturday, January 17. Located at Brooklyn Warehouse along Manila’s university belt, MXGG will serve as a new hub for Manila’s rhythm game scene.
MX Gaming Grounds was conceptualized at a time when young pop culture audiences are now looking for niche spots to call their second home.
“MX Gaming Grounds aims to build and preserve niche gaming communities from Rhythm, Puzzle, Racing, and more,” says Marketing and Product Head Nico Guarte. “MXGG also captures the heart of UBelt for students to not just have fun but to engage with the community that they may not have seen before.”
Inside MXGG are two specific areas: the OTOGYM, wherein rhythm game players can start their journey into arcade-style rhythm games, and for experienced players to test out their technical skills.
Those who want a flexible gaming experience can try out the Couch Gaming areas. Businesses, studios and fandom and gaming communities can also book the venue for special events and other content. Both areas can be experienced with the Grand Launch UNLIMITED PLAY Pass for Php 239 on the opening day.
