Free Comic Book Day

Mark your calendars on May 7 as we all celebrate Free Comic Book Day. All you have to do is visit the nearest comic book store that will be participating FCBD in your malls (check our list for details) and you’ll get a free comic book.

This was originated in North America in their effort in hopes to brings new readers to the independent comic book store, the first event happened on 2002 and it became an annual event that happens every first Saturday of May.

If you are avid comic book lover and you want to get a free comic book, here are some comic book retailers in the Metro that will be celebrating Free Comic Book Day.

  • Comic Odyssey (Robinsons Galleria)
  • Filbars (Greenbelt)
  • Druid’s Keep (2002 Leveria St. Pasay City)
  • Planet X (Trinoma, Glorietta 4)
  • National Bookstore (NBS Booth at the MetroComicCon event)
  • *Fully Booked (All branches)

*Note: Fully Booked will have a separate FCBD schedule, which will be on May 21


There will be also guests from famous local comic book artists as well as autograph signing and discounts on other comic books.

So don’t miss this annual event!!
