THQ just announced that Darksiders II; the sequel to their hit action game, is already in development and is scheduled to release on 2012 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Darksiders II lets you play as Death; one of the Four Horsemen of The Apocalypse, in the first Darksiders, the game lets you play as War.

The story will take place along with the first game, and Darksiders II will feature more weapons, bigger dungeons to explore and more badass monsters and bosses to beat.
