A Big Win for the Filipino Gamers

The Philippines made another impact in the world of gaming as they dominated the recent Games Xpo Arena in Singapore. The event featured several countries from Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, India and Indonesia) that  competed to achieve that gaming glory.

Let’s take a look at the results of the following games:

TGX Arena Regional – Defense of the Ancients (DotA)

  • 1st –  Mineski Infinity PowerColor (S$3000)
  • 2nd –  Orange eSports (S$2000)
  • 3rd –  MUFC (S$1000)

TGX Arena Regional – StarCraft II (SC2)

  • 1st –  eXo.Mski.Enderr (S$600)
  • 2nd –  NEO.RedArchon (S$400)
  • 3rd –  pRo.Cobo (S$200)

World Cyber Games Singapore – Heroes of Newerth (HoN)

  • 1st –  Duskbin.HoN (S$2000)
  • 2nd –  Xtreme ChaotiX SG (S$1000)
  • 3rd –  MUFC (S$500)

Because of the big achievement the PH Team accomplished, a big welcome party was made by Mineski; one of the pro-gaming organization in the Philippines last September 12, 2011 at the Coal Resto Bar and Grill in Manila, Cheaverz Fried and Grill in Cebu and Terrazzo bar and Restaurant in Cagayan de Oro.
