Play the De-make Version While Waiting for Borderlands 2

I bet all of you are excited to play Borderlands 2 and can’t wait for the September 18 release, maybe some of you are even playing the first Borderlands game again.

Worry no more, as Gearbox Studio released a “de-make” version of Borderlands 2 in your favorite web browser. Now don’t get yourself confused demakes with remakes; as remakes are putting old things (or in this case games) into the current generation of technology, de-makes are the opposite; we put the latest game back to the classic or older generation.

If you are a fan of old games, the classic 16-bit pixelated graphics will give you a nostalgic feel when playing this mini game. The de-make version lets you pick from the four characters and you have to fight a wave of enemies which include skags, bandits and other creatures from the actual game in multiple levels, you will be able to pick up weapons that ranges from pistols to machineguns to flamethrowers that give different attack patterns like spread attacks or two-way attacks.

Honestly the mini-game is really addicting, especially when collecting different weapons just to get the a really good score. We only hope that there’s some in-game perks for Borderlands if you reach a certain score.

You can try playing the Borderlands De-make game here, you can visit Gearbox Studio’s official website for updates on Borderlands 2.

The game will be released on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
