Yes that’s right, Metal Gear Solid 5 is indeed The Phantom Pain, if you remember the teaser trailer that was revealed last year at the Spike Video Game Awards 2012, that was the game called Phantom Pain from Moby Dick Studios. You can check out the teaser trailer below:

Hideo Kojima has done it again with a lot of surprises during the announcement of the game at the Game Developers Conference, he just revealed that Metal Gear Solid 5 will compose of Ground Zeroes (which we mentioned a few months ago http://reimarufiles.com/2012/09/05/snake-metal-gear-solid-game/) and Phantom Pain, both are running on the FOX Engine, which gives incredible lighting effects and stunning visuals. Ground Zeroes will set 9 years before the events on Phantom Pain before Big Boss falls into a comma.

You will be seeing familiar faces from Snake Eater and Peace Walker. The MGS 5 games will be release both on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, no word for a next gen console release. Below is the full trailer of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, followed by a gameplay trailer
