Well this was kind of surprising,  the widely popular top down and polarity shifting shooter Ikaruga is now available for your Android devices.

Ikaruga was first release on the arcade in 2001 then had it’s console debut on the SEGA Dreamcast in 2002 and on the Nintendo Gamecube a year after, it now has a port on the Xbox Live Arcade. This was the spiritual successor to Radiant Silvergun, a top down shooter on the SEGA Saturn. The game was developed by Treasure, the team behind some of the hits like Gunstar Heroes, Guardian Heroes and Bangai-O

You can purchase Ikaruga on Google Play for just $8, for more details, check out the trailer and the Google Play link
