November 25, 2013

Local comic book artists and enthusiasts have gathered once again for the annual Philippine Komiks Convention or popularly known as Komikon, which was held at the Bayanihan Center last November 15, 2013. We were at the event to cover it and also have a great time

There is no difference on the event setup from last year, and I think they don’t even need to change anything (you can check our previous Post Event Report for Summer Komikon 2013)

You’ll be seeing some familiar faces from the local comic book industry as well as some newcomers, also at the Indie Komiks Tiangge, you’ll get to discover some promising artists making their indie comic debut. Aside from the usual comic booths, there are some comic-themed products that are on sale, from posters, t-shirts, figures and even cupcakes.

There are also some panel talks and guest appearance from well known comic book artists promoting some of their upcoming projects.

So far this is one of the best events that you should regularly attend, check out our Aftermath Video for the whole happenings at the event as well as some of the pictures we’ve taken.
