With leaked images of a rumored next Assassin’s Creed game circulating around the net, Ubisoft finally broke its silence and confirms the next chapter to the hit franchise.

Assassin’s Creed Unity will take place during the French Revolution in the 18th Century, this was considered as one of the most bloody and brutal period in French history. The teaser video didn’t show any revealing info about the game, except for the timeline which it will be focusing on. Unity will be available this holiday season on the PC and the next gen consoles (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One)

There is still no info if one from the Kenway bloodline will become the main protagonist or a whole new character will be introduced.

There is also a rumored separate game; Assassin’s Creed: Comet that will be available to the last gen consoles (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360) as well for the PC, but there is still no confirmation from Ubisoft.
