Last August 29, Playweb Games hosted the Strife Media Launch at Imperium e-Sports Bar in Metrowalk, Ortigas, kicking off the launch of Strife in the Philippines in style.
Despite the heavy rains, bloggers and media partners of packed Imperium e-Sports bar to hear first-hand the announcement that Strife, the newest game in Playweb Games’ roster, has officially started its Open Beta phase. Philippine gamers can now play Strife with their friends and even with other players across the globe. Level Up prepaid cards and Epins may now be used to purchase gems in game.
The Strife Media Launch was headlined by an exciting exhibition match between two of the top League of Legends teams in the Philippines, Team IPT (Imperium Pro Team) and Team Wargods, who showcased the features that make Strife different from other MOBAs (multiplayer online battle arena) in the market. Other activities include a fun trivia session with the attendees, made possible by the participation of our partner Razer.
“It’s a very exciting time for us now that Strife is in Open Beta,” says Playweb Games General Manager Jake San Diego. “We’re confident that the streamlined and stress-free features will make Strife THE game to play for those looking for a fresh and welcoming take on the MOBA experience.”
Strife is a free-to-play, second-generation multiplayer online battle arena game developed by S2 Games. Strife boasts of exciting new features that take the stress out of the usual battle arena game, like gold sharing (so you and your teammates don’t compete for resources), customizable items to suit your playing style, and cute pets that aid you in battle. Strife is published locally by Playweb Games under the Level Up! brand in the Philippines.
