The fourth Far Cry game now takes us to the Himalayas, with a new place to explore and a new villain that you have to deal with. Featuring a much bigger area to explore and to discover then combine it with some elements from Far Cry 3 to create a truly incredible open world game. And not to mention the new multiplayer mode was also fun.

Mario Kart 8

One of the best racing games to release this year, Mario Kart 8 proves to all that a 22-year old franchise can still packs a punch; from the creative track designs to a ton of characters to choose from as well as a well-balanced gameplay and improved online play. A must have game for any Nintendo Wii U owners.

Divinity Original Sin

Another example of a classic turn-based RPG that can still make an impact. Divinity Original Sin was a crowd-funded game that managed to go toe-to-toe with top games like Dragon Age in terms of being a polished game, thanks to its depth and combat as well as consequences when choosing a decision, no matter how small it was and not to mention quests that are very engaging.

Bayonetta 2

One of Platinum Games’ creations becoming an exclusive for the Nintendo Wii U which made many fans wanting to own the said console, as this was one of the best action games to arrive this year. With the great amount of action and great pacing on its combat, Bayonetta 2 focused more on the aspects that made the first game really great that keeps the hardcore fans happy and the newcomers welcome to the game.

Destiny

From the makers of the legendary Halo trilogy, Destiny promises to bring more satisfying game experience after finishing the main game. Aimed to become an MMO, it promises to have constant content updates to further expand the player’s experience. Despite having the similar issues from typical MMOs, Destiny still provides one heck of an online first person shooter experience.
