It’s all set for Metal Gear Solid V as the release date has been announced as well as some neat limited edition items were revealed.

The most awaited Metal Gear Solid game has finally revealed its release date, MGS V: The Phantom Pain will be releasing for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on September 1st worldwide while the PC version will have to wait a few more days for its release on September 15.

The online multiplayer game Metal Gear Online will also be available on MGS V, aside from the release date announcement, a set of premium packages were announced. Those who purchased the Day One Edition of The Phantom Pain will receive the following items:

There is also a special MGSV PlayStation 4 announced for Japan, having the same color scheme that of Snake’s bionic arm, no details for the price and release date. Series creator Hideo Kojima also noted that this will be the final Metal Gear Solid game, so this could mean in there would be a new Metal Gear game, it would be a remake or a new game that is outside the Metal Gear Solid storyline.
