Criminal Girls: Invite Only Review: Playing for Guilty Pleasures

To sum it up, Criminal Girls: Invite Only is a rather casual jRPG by NIS standards. If the fan service is a huge factor to you then you may end up disappointed. If you’re looking to simply try it out, this would be a good entry title towards the NIS universe. If you play the game and later on decide that it might not be for you, at least the whipping will be over quickly.

  • Standard jRPG stuff
  • Did succeed in surprising me a bit towards the end
  • Pretty convenient to play
  • Dated production quality (though the songs aren’t bad)

Game Rating: 3 out of 5

Post note:Hello everyone, thanks for reading my review! Do you think fan service should be a major consideration when reviewing a game? Personally I think it should be treated as a bonus rather than be a subject of focus. Do you agree or disagree? I’d like to hear what you think! Also, for my next review I’ll try implementing a different format that may be more objective than the one I just made. I’d like to know which one you’d prefer when we compare them! Until next time!
