Reimaru Files together with 99.5 PlayFM will be bringing the Battle Arena once again at Toycon 2015.

Get ready for another awesome gaming session at our Battle Arena gaming booth in Toycon 2015, and we’ll be tagging some new friends along; PinoyPS and Rumpus Room will be showcasing some of the latest and best games from the current gen consoles.

Activities

So what can you expect at the Battle Arena? We’ll be hosting different themes for our activities for each day:

• Day 1: Retro Friday

• Day 2: Fatality Saturday

• Day 3: Mecha Sunday

In Retro Friday, we will be showcasing classic gaming consoles for attendees to play. Get a chance to relive the good old gaming days with our selection of retro consoles such as the Nintendo Gamecube, the Super NES, SEGA Dreamcast, PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2.

For Fatality Saturday, we will be hosting a Mortal Kombat X tournament with the help from the PinoyPS community plus a couple of fighting games from the Nintendo Wii U, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 for you to try out. Then on Mecha Sunday, it will be a Gundam Extreme VS Full Boost tournament and more games that you can play at our booth.

Mortal Kombat X – June 20, 2015

• PhP 50 registration fee

Match Rules:

• 1 vs 1 matches, win 2 rounds to earn one match point
• Default time
• Random stage select
• Fatalities & Brutalities are optional

Tournament Specifics:

• Double Elimination tourney
• All matches are Best of 3 matches
• All Finals matches (Losers Finals onwards) are Best of 5 matches
• Turtling/Projectile Spam is not grounded for a Ddisqualification.

Other notes:

• No DLC characters allowed
• Registration starts at opening
• Tournament starts 2:30PM

Gundam Extreme VS Full Boost – June 21, 2015

• PhP 50 registration fee

Match Rules:

• 1 vs 1 matches
• Round Time: 210 seconds
• Random stage and music select
• 12000 HP per player

Tournament Specifics:

• Single Elimination tourney
• All matches are Best of 3 matches
• Grand Final is a Best of 5 match
• Exploits = Automatic disqualification

Other notes:

• Only DLC characters available in the copy are Infinite Justice (Lacus) and Ridden’s Zaku-II
• Registration starts at opening
• Tournament starts at 2:30 PM

We will be showcasing game trailers fresh out of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015 at Los Angeles to give you the latest details of the new games arriving this year and beyond.

Plus if you have a 3DS or PS Vita, you can tag more Street Passes and join some of the lobby sessions of other player at our booth. And aside from our usual activities, we will be having surprise activities and giveaways so be sure to drop by at the Battle Arena and have some awesome time. This is also a chance to meet the Reimaru Files team and PlayFM DJs and a chance to play with or against them in some of games that we will be showcasing.
