About “Tearaway™ Unfolded”

Developed by the critically acclaimed developer Media Molecule; Tearaway™ Unfolded is an expanded retelling of the BAFTA award-winning PlayStation Vita game Tearaway, a remake for the PlayStation®4 system. The game has been rebuilt from the ground up to take advantage of the enhanced power of the PlayStation®4 system and the novel features of the DUALSHOCK®4 controller along with new fourth-wall-busting interactions. Leveraging on the 1080p/60fps graphic display, TearawayTM Unfolded expands upon existing areas from Tearaway and introduces completely new area, thus delivering even more charming detail within wider vistas.

Journey through a vibrant paper world and watch it come to life along with a plucky messenger who will bring you a unique message. As you take on this rites-of-passage adventure with your new buddy, you’ll rely on each other’s strengths to overcome perilous challenges and uncover a magical dimension inspired by half-forgotten stories and folklore. TearawayTM Unfolded is an experience like no other; a game that knows the player and a story that will completely absorb them.

Using the unique inputs and functionalities of the DUALSHOCK®4 controller; TearawayTM Unfolded brings the game to life in completely new and unexpected ways. Some of these features include, but not limited to, unleashing powerful gusts of wind with a well-timed swipe of the touch pad, transforming the scenery of the game by pointing the wireless controller’s light bar at the TV, or letting your messenger soar into the air with a push on the touch pad.
