The classic JRPG from Game Arts will be given an HD treatment.

If you played the Grandia series on the PlayStation and its sequel on the PlayStation 2, then you are in for a treat as GungHo Online Entertainment America confirms the release of Grandia 2 to the PC on August 24. The game will be available both on and Steam.

Grandia 2 was originally a Sega Dreamcast game on 2000 then was ported to the PlayStation 2 in 2002. As its 15th anniversary, Grandia 2 will be heading to the PC with added features aside from the improved visuals, it will have gamepad support, Japanese voice overs and a new harder difficulty level.

The game will be priced at $19.99 but will be on sale for $14.99 for a limited time.

Previously, GungHo Online Entertainment America posted a survey for which Game Arts game would fans like to see be released to the PC. As a result, Grandia 2 tops the survey.
