Skullgirls 2nd Encore is Heading to Japan, Japanese Voice Actors Revealed

Yep, Skullgirls 2nd Encore will be having a Japanese release, and along that are the list of seiyuus that will be providing the voices.

Arc System Work will be collaborating with Lab Zero Games in bringing Skullgirls 2nd Encore to Japan, and expect to see it on January 2016. Skullgirls 2nd Encore is a re-release and updated version of the original Skullgirls game after publisher Konami dropped the game a few years ago. Along with the Japanese release date is the list of Japanese voice actors who will be lending their voices to the characters in Skullgirls. Dengeki Online provided the list of the voice actors

  • Filia – Taketatsu Ayana (Persona 4 Arena’s Labrys, Sword Art Online’s Leafa)
  • Cerebella – Toa Yukinari (BlazBlue’s Bullet)
  • Parasol – Tanaka Rie (Marvel vs. Capcom 3’s Morrigan, Persona 4 Arena’s Mitsuru Kirijo)
  • Peacock – Kaneda Tomoko (One Piece’s Boa Sandersonia, Bleach’s Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck)
  • Ms. Fortune – Hanazawa Kana (Persona 4’s Marie, Daemon Bride’s Nina Sumeragi)
  • Double – Mitsuki Nakae (Fire Emblem if’s Kinu)
  • Painwheel – Kitta Izumi (WataMote’s Tomoko Kuroki)
  • Valentine – Imai Asami (BlazBlue’s Tsubaki Yayoi)
  • Squigly – Sawashiro Miyuki (BlazBlue’s Carl Clover, Persona 4 Arena’s Elizabeth)
  • Big Band – Sugita Tomokazu (BlazBlue’s Ragna, Guilty Gear’s That Man)
  • Eliza – Chie Matsuura (BlazBlue’s Kokonoe)
  • Marie – Touyama Nao (Under Night In-Birth’s Vatista)

Skullgirls 2nd Encore will be available on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, the game is already available in North America last July
