The Dark Souls Boardgame is a go, more than 5,000 backers pledged over 500% of the required funding.

Prepare to Die, board game edition.

FROM SOFTWARE’s most famous gaming franchise ventures in to the land of board games as the Dark Souls: The Board Game gets successfully funded over at Kickstarter  just minutes after it was posted. The project as first revealed by Bandai Namco weeks ago, the game will be created independently by Steamforged Games Ltd., hence the crowdfunding, and will feature multiple concepts, and characters from the Souls franchise.

As of this article’s writing, the project has received £ 431, 236 in backing, way more than the required £ 50,000 for the game to be created. The Dark Souls Board Game is expected to be released next year at April 2017,
