Imagine Metroidvania on Steroid-induced Multiplayer.

Crunchy Games skill-based, massive multiplayer online, shoot-em-up platformer StarBreak is now live on Steam and it is Free to Play. The game, which takes inspiration from popular platformer titles such as CastleVania and Metroid, features procedurally generated maps and level content with massive multiplayer support of up to 50 players and permadeath. asdwead

Yup,heard that right, perma-death is one of the major elements of Crunchy’s side-scrolller, making players loose all their progress once unfortunately killed in-game, Crunchy Games’ states that this is not a reason to worry though as progression is relatively fast and with the game being skill-based,the principle of the “longer you play, the better you’ll get” will apply to all players. StarBreak is now available for free on PC, Mac, Linux and Steam OS through Steam and interested players can head on to the StarBreak Steam page to download the title.
