We are also pleased to announce the launch of 「Super Robot Wars V」 for PlayStation®4 and PlayStation Vita as the second title in the Super Robot Wars 25th Anniversary Project.
「Super Robot Wars V」 is a battle simulation RPG. Robots from other animation works will cross over and make an appearance in the Super Robot Wars series, in this special 2nd Title in the 25th Anniversary Project. Enjoy spectacular mech battles with the beautiful graphics of the PlayStation®4. The game takes place as a stand-alone story in a new alternate world, so those who are new to the Super Robot Wars series can enjoy the game as well.
The Japanese teaser PV debuts today on the official website and at the Super Robot Wars 25th Anniversary event, the「Super Thanksgiving Festival of Steel 2016」.

What is Super Robot Wars?
Since its launch in 1991, the 「Super Robot Wars」 series has unfolded as a magnificent part-drama, part-game, where the stories of its many characters interweave, winning the love and support of fans over these many years.
As of January 2016, the series spans 90 titles (including the 「X-Ω」smart phone app, and Best titles). As the game welcomes its 25th anniversary, 16,700,000 copies have been sold, since 20 April 1991, the day the very first sale of 「Super Robot Wars」 for the GameBoy took place.
