GAMEVIL and Digital Legends third person mobile shooter Afterpulse has recently been announced as winners of the Gamelab Barcelona Best Game of the Year and recognition for Best Technology of 2016.

Gamelab Barcelona is a yearly conference held in Barcelona, Spain and provides companies in interactive media a means to market and expand. It has been rapidly developing into one the most influential gaming expos in the Spanish and European regions. Presented by the Spanish Academy of Interactive Arts and Science in partnership with Gamelab, the awards ceremony acknowledges excellence in the mobile gaming industry. On July 1st, Gamelab Barcelona 2016 gave recognition to Afterpulse of Digital Legends Entertainment for Best Game of the year.

Launched in October 2015 by Spanish studio Digital Legends Entertainment, Afterpulse has garnered massive attention as the hottest action shooter to hit mobile devices. Developed with the latest Metal API, Afterpulse pushes mobile gaming to the next level with its alluring graphics, realistic physics engine, and immersive stage designs of modern military warfare. On the battlefield, gameplay offers easy to use and customizable control schemes, multiple game modes, and a steady stream of content updates. Afterpulse is constantly evolving and has released over 20 new weapons and two additional maps, along with having numerous special events for the players.

With the Spanish Academy Awards acknowledging the diligent work both Digital Legends and GAMEVIL have put into Afterpulse, the teams are hard at work to introduce additional weapons, features, maps and the highly anticipated Android version.
