And this means a whole new seasons to watch and more new Gunplas to build.
Just recently Japanese steaming site Live Line featured a special program for Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans and Build Fighters Try where they announced the new shows for the two series. The show was presented by Iron-Blooded Orphans voice talents Yuuki Kuwahara and Sayaka Senbongi (Cookie and Cracker). The event was also livestreamed at the Bandai Channel.
Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans will start its second season on October 2 and it will feature new mobile suits along with the new upgraded Barbatos Lupus. Iron-Blooded Orphans premiered on October 2015 and has ended its first season last March and the second season was teased at the end of the season finale
Next was the much awaited OVA for Gundam Build Fighters was revealed as well. Gundam Build Fighters Try Island Wars will premiere on August 21 and will feature the original cast of Build Fighters Try, no details yet if other original Build Fighters characters aside from Nils Nielson will appear on the OVA. Island Wars will feature Team Try Fighters mobile suits from the final episode and will also feature all-new mobiles suits from other characters, BACK-ON will return once again perform the opening for the OVA. Builder Fighters Try last for 25 episodes from October 2014 to April 2015.
And aside from the series announcements, the new set of Gunplas were announced for the two Gundam series, the new wave of kits will be expected to arrive in Japan starting with Build Fighters Try Island Wars around August and will continue until March 2017 while Iron-Blooded Orphans season two will start around October and continues until March 2017.
And aside from the model kits, there will be collaborations with Bandai Namco’s Gundam games as downloadable contents, one example is for Gundam Breaker 3 where the Scramble Gundam (GBFT Island Wars) and Barbatos Lupus (IBO season two) will be available as DLC this year. A new trailer for SD Gundam G Generations Genesis was revealed and will be available on November in Japan, the English version is expected to become available early next year.
