Valve takes your game viewing to a whole new level as they announce Virtual Reality support for Dota 2.
With just days to go before the kickoff of Valve’s biggest professional gaming event, the The International Dota 2 Championships, the video game titan doubles up on its Virtual Reality presence by opening up a VR Hub for their competitive gaming title, Dota 2.
Aimed towards the spectator experience, the Dota 2 VR Hub is available via free DLC for Dota 2 players, provided that they own a Virtual Reality gear such as the HTC Vive. Actual gaming using the VR Hub is not yet supported as of this moment, although you can interact with Dota 2’s heroes in the Hero Showcase mode.
Redditor scarecrowman175 shares some screenshots of his 10 minute Dota 2 VR Hub run through featuring most of the add-ons features.
