Time was not kind for Togusa.

The live action adaptation for the critically acclaimed Ghost In the Shell anime receives new buzz as alleged photos of its acting cast appear on the surface web. First receiving intrigue when Avengers star Scarlett Johansson was bought in to fill the role of Major Motoko Kusanagi, these new photos may look to stir up the movie’s already split fanbase as some questionable casting decisions were obviously made for the upcoming film.

The leaked photos include images of the main stars depicting the film’s main characters such as Motoko’s second in command Batou, Section 9’s Chiek Daisuke Aramaki, and Section 9’s only “natural” member Togusa. In addition to the cast photos, images of what seems to be the film’s poster art is also included featuring Scarlett Johansson sporting his Kusanagi look.
