Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, the fourth entry in the story-rich Ace Attorney series, has been confirmed to come to iOS and Android in the coming months, according to the official CapcomUnity Twitter page.
Apollo Justice, originally released for the Nintendo DS back in 2007, is the only entry of the first 5 mainline Ace Attorney titles to remain Nintendo-exclusive. A bit of an odd dock of the mainline games, being the only one where titular star Phoenix Wright is absent as a playable character, Apollo Justice is still beloved by fans new and old for its fantastic music, great characterization and tense gameplay, as any other Ace Attorney game touts.
Taking place almost 20 years after the events of the original trilogy, the game stars a new protagonist, the very loud and very determined Apollo Justice.
With improved graphics that completely maintain the original aesthetic, this certainly is the best looking “remaster” Capcom has shown to put on mobile, which is a problem Capcom has been panned for in the past.
With this, the first 5 mainline Ace Attorney games will be available on mobile devices, bridging the gap between the original trilogy and the fifth entry, Dual Destinies.
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney will be coming in the winter to the App Store and Google Play.
