goGame, a subsidiary of SEGA, has officially launched the English version of the pirate-themed mobile game War Pirates globally. The game is available for free download on the App Store, Google Play and Aptoide from today onwards.

Originally published in Japan as Sen No Kaizoku (戦の海賊), this English version was first made available for players residing in Australia, Canada, Philippines, Singapore and the United Kingdom. Earlier this month, the game was also released for download in Thailand and Malaysia.

Balancing strategy tactics, aim-to-fire battle and an elaborate storyline, War Pirates offers 14 maps, over 300 quests, 20+ ships and 230+ pirate characters to achieve an exciting mobile gaming experience. Players are invited to immerse themselves in the epic, fantasy pirate world to lead a fearsome crew of buccaneers on a swashbuckling adventure with innovative real-time PvP battles.

With this global launch, which is also goGame’s first global launch, players will now be able to enjoy more exciting PvP combats with challengers from all around the world. This sets the stage for even more epic battles on an international scale with the upcoming release of Guild vs. Guild!

Furthermore, this release also coincides with a version 2.1.1 update of the game, which sees the implementation of new maps, new quests, new game balance adjustments and new user interface tweaks—all part of the steady stream of continual improvements that publisher goGame has made since the initial release.
