Yay, wait what?

Bandai is looking to hit their intended deadline of erecting (heh) a new life-sized Gundam statue in the form of the RX-0 Gundam Unicorn in front of the Diver City Tokyo Plaza which also house the Gundam Base Tokyo entertainment and showcase facility. Posted by Taghobby and user ShonanPai the images depict the back view of the RX-0 Gundam Unicorn’s head and as well as the boosters which leads us to think that the statue might feature more armaments other than the base RX-0 Gundam Unicorn model.

On the other hand a new iteration which will be added to the millions of already existing iteration of the titular RX-78-2 Gundam will be produced as part of a promotion deal with Curry House Coco Ichibanya which will be giving the High Grade version of the RX-78-2 Gundam gunpla kit a new weapon…a Spoon.

So how do you get to take home this another iteration to add to your many versions of the RX-78-2 you ask? Well first you’d have to join a raffle by actually purchasing JPY 900 worth of Curry House CocoIchi’s products, submit a receipt as your entry and hopefully be one of the 1000 chosen few to own one of this very limited edition kit, if you really are that hell bent on getting it that is.

Anyway for full info about the Curry House CocoIchi promotion, you can check out their promotional website at the site also shows more of the prizes from the promo and more details on how to join.
