Hey, don’t ask us why.

Late 2016’s big anime hit, and one that introduced us all to a new level of, well, athletics, Keijo!!!!!! is heading to Philippine cable TV by way of local anime channel HeroTV. Originally made known through the manga magazine Weekly Shonen Sunday, Keijo is an anime about Butt and Bust Martial Arts (yes, you read that right) wherein the protagonist Nozomi Kaminashi attempts to butt slam her way into the Keijo, which is also the name of the sport, limelight as she shoots through opponents using her Vacuum Butt Cannon.

Now just in case you were living under the rock for the last year or so and have absolutely no idea what we’re talking about, you can check out the series’ Promo Trailer for the dubbed release below.

Together with Keijo!!!!!!, A-1 Pictures The Asterisk War will also be getting the HeroTV treatment and will also be kicking off this August. The Asterisk War is an action fantasy series, set in a fictional future where superpowers became a common thing after a near-apocalyptic event which gave birth to the Genestella, or superpower-wielding students. Now just like many action fantasy series, The Asterisk War pits the protagonist, Amagiri Ayato against other power-wielding students as she investigates her sister’s disappearance all while participating in tournaments called Festas.

Keijo!!!!!! will be broadcasted over at HeroTV Mondays to Fridays every 11:00 AM, 5:00 PM and 11:00 PM while The Asterisk War will broadcast, still Mondays to Fridays, but at 6:30 PM.
