See? The Philippines truly is South East Asia’s Esports hub.
Fresh from redeeming themselves and crowning teams Execration for Dota 2 and Mineski for Counter Strike Global Offensive as the Philippine champions for the ROG Masters 2017 tournament series, ASUS looks to continue their activities in Pinoy land as they aim to host the Asia Pacific Finals of the ROG Masters 2017 right here in Manila.
Looking to invite the best in the Asia Pacific region with qualifying events in countries, Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan, Singapore, and the Philippines, together with the Oceanic regions, Australia and New Zealand, the Asia Pacific Finals event will take place this coming October 2017, with the venue and the exact date to soon be confirmed.
The Asia Pacific Finals will have 8 teams for both CS:GO and Dota 2 competing for the chance to represent the region and join the best from the Americas, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa,) and China to compete for the lion’s share of the USD 250,000 prize pool for both of the game titles.
The ROG Masters series is now on its 2nd year, and previously crowned Team Secret as its 2016 Dota 2 champion and Mongolz as the 2016 CS:GO champion.
