More Otaku Goodness this Year With Best of Anime 2017

The Best of Anime is back once more, and they have more surprises for their anime and cosplay fans.

It’s another great weekend for fans of cosplay and anime as Best of Anime is back for another great event this year. The Best of Anime 2017 will be on September 10 to 11 at the SMX Convention Center. They will be bringing the cavalry in the world of JPop, JRock and cosplay for a weekend full of energy and fun.

Some of the guests that will be arriving include international cosplayers Reika, Yuegene Fay and Liu & Hana, as for musical performances, Japanese idol group STARMARIE will be making its return to Best of Anime, they made their debut in the Philippines at Best of Anime 2013 and become one of the fan favorites of the event. Popular JRock band Spyair will be performing at the event on the Ongaku Fest area for more than a hour of intense rock music. Spyair is known for its songs for anime series such as Bleach (25th ending song), Mobile Suit Gundam AGE (2nd ending song), Gintama series (17th ending and 13th opening) and movie, Haiyu!! opening songs and Mobile Suit Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans (season two 1st opening).

Aside from the guests being the main highlight, there are tons of stage activities planned at Best of Anime 2017. Some of them include Anime Idol Dance Battle, Cosplay Competition Inter-School edition and All-Star edition, Anime Sing-Off and Battle of the Bands. Plus some merchandise booths and fan artists area to satisfy your love for anything anime. A special costume making workshop hosted by Reika will be available for attendees courtesy of Singer and a special set of film showings from Pioneer films are schedule for the two-day event.
