And oh, there’s Alexstrasza too.

Heroes of the Storm continues to welcome new heroes from old and new Blizzard games and this time a mix of both old and new is the centerpiece as Overwatch’s Hanzo and WarCraft’s Alexstrasza joins the MOBA’s hero roster.

Announced at BlizzCon 2017, Hanzo Shimada will be a “nimble ranged assassin” , a role pretty similar to his in-game role in Overwatch, whereas Alexstrasza  will be a ranged support with the ability to turn herself into a Dragon.

Together with the addition of 2 new Heroes, Heroes of the Storm will also be getting new gameplay updates, such as performance-based matchmaking, updating the camera FOV, voice chat, and as well as updates involving Stealth mechanics, mercenaries, and early game refinements.

These new updates, together with Hanzo and Alexstrasza  will be part of HotS 2018 gameplay update and will be made available on the PTR later this November.
