Rayark’s music rhythm title Cytus II was officially released on Google Play with its ver1.1 update. To repay Android players, from today until March 14th, Rayark will be holding a sale for the base game. The original price is USD $1.99. During the sale, it will be USD $1.39.
The core gameplay of Cytus II is that players will tap a variety of note sequences on screen as a song plays and the Active Judgement Line scans up and down. In ver1.1, on top of the addition of new character Cherry, we’ve increased the level cap for each character. This means new unlockable free songs and story content.
Each character represents a different music genre; new character provides new stories for players to explore
Including the paid DLC, Cytus II currently has over 60 songs. Each character in the game represents a different style of music. Of the characters, Xenon, ConneR and ver1.1 new character Cherry are paid DLC characters. As players unlock more characters, they get access to songs with different music styles and receive more hints about the game’s narrative.
The new in-game character Cherry contains ten songs and brings a brand-new genre to the game. Her music is Rock/Post-Rock with emotional human vocals and is accompanied by light electronic synthesizer elements. Cherry’s music reflects her character image: a seemingly cold exterior with a bold, almost reckless personality hidden underneath.
Cherry’s song pack contains songs from many composers. In addition to songs from bands like Night Keepers and nowhere, it also includes “Stop at nothing” and “Living for you”, two songs composed by Kevin Penkin. Also included is the song “LEVEL 4”, which is performed by Japanese singer Aozora Sorano.
In addition to the new character, ver1.1. also added several new free songs for the players to play, including a mysterious new song that has taken the music game world by storm. Please look forward to the new songs.
In the future, Cytus II will continue adding new characters, new songs, and new stories for the players to explore and experience.
As the Android version is released, the iOS version of Cytus II will also update to ver 1.1 on 3/15.
