WEBZEN has soft-launched its mobile strategy RPG First Hero in South America, France, and Spain.

First Hero is a real-time strategy game with RPG features, available for both Android and iOS devices. In the game, players recruit and develop legendary and historical heroes to win battles against other warriors.  The key element is finding the best strategy to build and defend one’s fortresses while expanding the empire through winning battles and forming alliances. The victors can look forward to a rich array of rewards, which includes crystals, resources, heroes, and cash items.

Since its first soft launch in April, the gaming experience has been further enhanced to reflect user feedback. First and foremost, the tutorial has been improved, so that players who are not familiar with strategy games can quickly grasp the mechanics of the genre. Another important change enables troops to move diagonally across the battlefield, thus allowing for greater strategic freedom in battle. Finally, motion effects and battle effects in the in-game UI have been upgraded to offer some extra thrills to the warriors.

First Hero’s Facebook community page https://www.facebook.com/FirstHeroGlobal, which is updated daily for thousands of followers, contains game tutorials, interactive brain teasers to get the players’ strategy engine up and running, and various interesting quizzes in relation to the hero of the week.

First Hero is now available for free download in the App Store and Google Play.
