Rev Major last had left a lot of people saying #DoItAgain and having it’s second round happen this weekend is certainly an event to look forward to for all fighting game enthusiasts in the Philippines. In this article we’ll sum up what we expect to see in the event.
The Games
- Tekken 7
- Street Fighter V
- Dragon Ball FighterZ
- BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle
- Super Smash Bros. (WiiU)
- Super Smash Bros. Melee
- Guilty Gear XRD Rev2
- Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3
We’ll be expecting some intense action as Rev Major 2018 is now credited as a ‘challenger event’ for Tekken World Tour and as a part of Smash Masters League.
They will also be streaming with the schedule below (note that this is in GMT+8:00)
International Guests
- Knee (Rox Dragon
- Chanel (Rox Dragon)
- Tanukana (CAG.RB)
- Take (Team Yamasa)
- Nobi (Team Yamasa)
- Yuu (Team Yamasa)
- Yuyu (UYU)
- Jeondding (UYU)
- Jiyuna
- MulGold
- LowHigh (Fursan)
- Ulsan

- Teresa
Most of the guests appear to be mainly playing Tekken but there’s a couple here that are likely to play other games as well. Personally I’m hyped to watch Teresa’s Jam fight the local players for Guilty Gear.
Spectator Pass
Spectator pass will be sold during the event itself, ideally for walk ins, with no reservations allowed, whatsoever. Ranging between 200 – 350 Php.
Logistics Advice
- It looks like there may be quite a storm visiting the country roughly at the same time as the event. Be prepared for wet weather and maybe some pocket money in case you have to wait out the downpour.
- Arrive at the event early, parking can be a problem if you decide to arrive close to event start.
