Globe Telecom, through its information and communications technology arm Globe Business, and TechZone Philippines Inc. have launched TechGlobal Data Center, Inc. a joint venture aimed at catering to the changing needs and preferences of IT gaming enterprises.

TechGlobal provides a globally competitive, carrier-neutral facility to manage customers’ critical ICT requirements which calls for the highest level of availability, reliability, and security. TechGlobal forms part of Globe Telecom and TechZone’s strengthened approach in addressing the requirements of enterprises that need higher power output and extra layers of security.

“The reason we created TechGlobal is to ensure that, with the understanding and expertise of both TechZone and Globe, we can cater to the end-to-end needs of our online gaming clients. As such, Globe provides the technical expertise to deliver the services coupled with the online gaming expertise coming from Techzone, creating a perfect marriage,” said TechGlobal Chief Executive Officer Mike Frausing.

To further enable Philippine enterprises, TechGlobal received an ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management System (QMS) from Anglo-Japanese American (AJA) Registrars Inc. This certification means that TechGlobal met the requirements in terms of availability and measurement of its Data Center Operations, Facilities Management, and Physical Security. In addition, since TechGlobal is located in TechZone, a PEZA-accredited building, current and incoming PEZA customers in the TechGlobal Data Center can enjoy the benefits of PEZA incentives.

“The certification supports Globe Business’ thrust to enable transformation and provide superior customer experience. It is an impetus to innovate and execute processes for the benefit of our enterprise customers and their clients as well. All in all, this recognition runs parallel with our goal to continuously strive for operational excellence, adherent to the vision, mission and values of Globe Telecom,” shared Globe Business Senior Vice President and TechGlobal Director Peter Maquera.

The TechGlobal Data Center is currently operated and maintained by Globe Telecom’s Data Center Operations and reflects the best practices and processes aligned with the rest of other Globe Data Centers.
