Global Mobile Esports held for 3 Consecutive Years, Summoners War World Arena Championship 2019 Begins!

Com2uS announced that the company’s global RPG “Summoners War: Sky Arena” has opened the official page of Summoners War World Area Championship 2019 (SWC 2019) and is recruiting players to participate from all over the world on the 15th.

SWC, which debuted successfully in 2017, has attracted more than 3,000 viewers from Los Angeles (LA) World Finals in its first year of operation, and reached 130,000 worldwide viewers with the live broadcast of the world finals last year.’SWC 2019′, which will be held for the third consecutive year this year, will expand the scale of the tournament and plan to enhance the entertainment of watching e-sports with various image contents.

First, SWC 2019 will be held with a prize pool of about $210,000 (about 250 million won), which is twice the amount of the previous tournament. The tournament will be divided into three continents, Asia-Pacific Cup, Europe Cup and America Cup to be proceeded. Regional preliminaries and the ‘Group Stage’ will provide more match opportunities to the players and the ‘SWC2019 Battle Mode’ will provide a fairer competition environment.

The world finals of the year was confirmed to be held in Paris, France. As Summoners War is being loved by users from all over the world, the world finals will be held in Europe on Oct. 26th as it was held in North America (LA, USA) on the first year, and in Asia (Seoul, South Korea) last year.

In addition, Com2uS will create video content that will illuminate players and monsters with various concepts, including details of each match to provide more entertainment for the users to enjoy.


Meanwhile, Com2uS has released the official teaser video (https://youtu.be/rxeTxpYr97E) through ‘SWC 2019’ official page and is recruiting players starting today until June 7th. Anyone who enjoys Summoners War will be able to participate. The finalists will be selected based on the results of the World Arena season 8 and 9 of the applicants.
