Street Fighter V: Asia Invitational 2019, the event to decide the Asia champion will be held at “Tokyo Game Show 2019”! The prize for the winning team is 1 million yen!
Registration for “Street Fighter V: Road to Tokyo Asia Invitational 2019” leading to the above tournament has also begun!
Target countries are the following 6; Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines!
“Street Fighter V: Road to Tokyo Asia Invitational 2019” will consist of the following; first, an online singles qualifying tournament. Then, the top four players of the first qualifying tournament will form national representative teams. In the second qualifying round, six regional representative teams that fought through the first online qualifiers will compete, deciding the 3 Asia representative teams.
The three selected Asian teams will be invited to “Street Fighter V: Asia Invitational 2019” held at “Tokyo Game Show 2019 (Japan)” and will clash with the Japanese national team! Of course, the players of the representative team selected for “Street Fighter V: Asia Invitational 2019” will be invited free of charge for travel and accommodation with the support of Ambrasia Multimedia (Hong Kong), who will be holding the “Street Fighter V: Road to Tokyo Asia Invitational 2019” event! Now, fight to claim your chance to represent your home country!
Furthermore, the players of the invited representative teams will be invited to participate in the most prestigious individual competition, “CAPCOM Pro Tour 2019 ASIA Premier”. Aim for the world’s top by demonstrating the ability not only in team battles but also in individuals.
Road to Tokyo Asia Invitational-Event Overview
- First online qualifier event
- Regions: Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Philippines
- Overview: Top four players from each region (one reserve player) of the first online qualifier will each form a regional representative team and proceed to the second online qualifier.
