More updates of upcoming games and new reveals were made in one of the world’s biggest gaming conventions.
The Tokyo Game Show 2019 has already concluded, and we listed out some of the games that grabbed our attention and will be looking forward to its launch day.
Final Fantasy VII Remake new trailer
Square Enix’s most anticipated remake of the legendary RPG gets a new trailer featuring new battle gameplay footage and the Turks in full glory. Expect to see the game on March 3, 2020.
Resident Evil: Project Resistance reveal trailer
The next Resident Evil game will be more on hunter vs prey. Players can assume the role of the survivors or the mastermind in this cooperative game, lead your other survivors to safety or make them your test subjects for the Umbrella Corporation. Capcom’s Resident Evil: Project Resistance will have a closed beta this October, no release date has been announced.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot release date
A new gameplay trailer for the action RPG Dragon Ball Z game teases the Majin Buu arc, which will complete the entire Dragon Ball Z story. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will release on January 17, 2020
Death Stranding new trailer
Another trailer was unveiled at the event, this time fleshing out the plot of this Hideo Kojima game, which of course adds more questions about the story. It will be available on November 8, 2019
Kingdom Hearts III: ReMind trailer
The upcoming DLC for Kingdom Hearts III will feature a playable Roxas and Aqua, as well as more backstories about Xenahort to answer some of the mysteries. Expect to see the DLC sometime this Winter.
Nioh 2 Reveal trailer
A reveal trailer has been dropped for a new Nioh game, and this time it’s featuring a new character and more terrifying creatures to slay. Nioh 2 will arrive in early 2020.
Tales of Arise new trailer
Another teaser trailer was revealed for the next Tales of installment at Tokyo Game Show, but still not enough details on the combat gameplay as it seems to be featuring a whole new battle system and a new character was being teased on the trailer as well. No release date has been mentioned for Tales of Arise
Yakuza: Like a Dragon trailer
The newest chapter in the Yakuza franchise will feature a very unique turn-based combat system that is breaking from its original action-based format, and this was featured first as an April Fools joke. Yakuza: Like a Dragon will release in January 16, 2020 in Japan and the English version will be around 2020.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 trailer
The new One Piece Pirate Warriors game will feature an all-new original story where it will take place in the Wano Country. The Bandai Namco and Koei Tecmo project will arrive on 2020.
Shenmue III new trailer
The newest trailer for Shenmue III featured improved visuals and textures, in which the visuals was the main complaints from fans on the previous trailers that said to be progressing backwards in terms of quality. Shenmue III will release on November 19.
Project Sakura Wars game trailer
The new Sakura Wars game which is called Shin Sakura Taisen in Japan will feature two different gameplays; one is for adventure mode where your character will interact with female characters and perform in a visual novel style of interaction, and the other is the battle mode where it has similarities from Musou games as it shows more of a hack-and-slash aspect. Project Sakura Wars will release in Japan on December 12 and in 2020 for the international version.
YS IX Monstrum Nox gameplay trailer
A lengthy gameplay video was revealed at the event to showcase how YS IX will actually play. The latest title from the long-running Ys series will be more action-packed and will feature more playable characters to join Adol’s team. YS IX Monstrum Nox will head to Japanese gaming stores on September 26, no release date for the English version has been announced yet.
Atelier Ryza Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout story trailer
The new Atelier game is getting a lot of attention lately and a new trailer has premiered to focus on the game’s story. Atelier Ryza Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout will release in Japan on September 26 and the English version on October 29
