Get ready for Coslandia 2019

Coslandia 2019 promises to be the “ultimate J-Culture festival” as it returns for a second run this November, bringing a power-packed three-day activity to the enthusiastic Japanese culture audience.

J-pop concerts, free movie screenings, cosplay competitions, meet and greet sessions with various guest artists and personalities, e-sports tournaments and exclusive merchandise await all fans of Japanese culture.

Top-billing the event are J-pop idols 1-Girls, Fairytales, Amatsusora, Gracorex, Hirotoshi “TJ” Maeda, Hazuki Tsubasa, Tomoka, Samero, Pastel Mix and MNL48. MNL48 will be promoting its newest card game app “MNL48 Janken Senbatsu” and is set to perform its newest single “High Tension,” the event’s official theme song, with Gabb as center girl.

Cosplayers will also be in the spotlight as World Cosplay Summit Team Philippines 2019 Team Class S will be gracing the event. WCSPH will also stage solo cosplay competitions with “Armor & Cloth” and “Hero & Heroine” themes, aside from holding a Trick-or-Treat for the kids.

Pop Culture Hiroshima will be conducting its first qualifiers in Luzon to determine who will represent the region in the finals next year and represent the Philippines to Pop Culture Hiroshima in April 2020.

“Seikimatsu Blue” manga creator Shintaro Hirota will also be gracing the event together with the director for its live-action adaptation Tetsuya Hashi and MNL48 members Abby, Brei, Coleen and Kay to promote the upcoming film set to be shown in local cinemas soon.

Free film screenings of Mazinger Z: Infinity (courtesy of Telesuccess Productions), Your Name., and Your Lie in April (courtesy of Pioneer Films) also await avid Japanese movie fanatics.

Among the other guests set to appear are cosplayer Miku16, characters Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel, Rilakkuma, Pikachu and mecha legend Voltes V. Coslandia Girls Collection fashion show is also set to happen on stage.

Coslandia 2019 is set to be held from November 1 to 3 at SMX Convention Center Aura inside SM Aura Premier in Taguig City. Tickets are available at SM cinema branches or at SMTickets.com for Php600 (one-day pass), Php900 (two-day pass) and Php1,200 (3-day pass).

This event is hosted by HalloHallo Entertainment in partnership with the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines, World Cosplay Summit Philippines and Pop Culture Hiroshima Philippines, sponsored by Pioneer films, Brother Philippines, Creative Nation Academy, and RapidShots360. The Reimaru Files is a media partner for Coslandia 2019.
