Summoners War announced the contender list & schedule of SWC 2020

Com2uS finally announced the official contender list and other detailed information of Summoners War World Arena Championship 2020 (SWC 2020).

A total of 72 players from Asia-Pacific, Americas and Europe will battle it out in the World Arena Championship this year. The contenders have been selected based on the records of World Arena Season 12 and Season 13.

In the SEA region, the tournament will see the participation of 8 top players among thousands of registered contenders. They are: KROMZ, HONGKFC, O2LOVEO (Thailand), JINYAO (Malaysia), XERE (Viet Nam), FENRIR (Singapore), DOLPHINBUFF and DILIGENT (Australia). Along with big names like O2LOVEO, DILIGENT, KROMZ, there are many new faces in the SEA preliminary this year such as JINYAO from Malaysia, FENRIR from Singapore, and XERE from Vietnam.\

With the total prize pool of more than US$210,000 (~VND 5 billion), the World Arena Championship 2020 is a life-changing tournament for gamers who want to show their skills against the best in the world. This year, SWC 2020 will be played entirely online and will be broadcast via Summoners War’s Youtube channels in accordance with social distancing measures implemented in most countries in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic. The Asia-Pacific Cup, which was scheduled to be held on Oct. 31st, will also be held on Nov. 1st.

The first match will be the APAC – Japan Preliminary on Aug. 29th 1pm SGT.
