A ton of reveals was made during the 14-minute special video.

Nintendo couldn’t forget his ever-loving Italian Plumber, especially for its 35th birthday. So a ton of announcements were made during the 14-minute Direct video special, let’s take a look on what was revealed.

Game & Watch Super Mario Bros.

A special Game & Watch device will be available featuring the classic Super Mario Bros. NES game, this will also include the Lost Levels and a special redesigned Ball game with an updated look at Mario. Unlike the original Game & Watch devices, this version will have the full-color LCD screen. You can get the Game & Watch Super Mario Bros. on November 13 for USD 49.99

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury

The Super Mario 3D World from the Wii U will be getting a Switch port. This will include the multiplayer feature and some new additions including the new Bowser’s Fury content. It will be available on February 12, 2021 along with new Amiibo figures featuring Cat Mario and Cat Peach.

Super Mario Bros. 3D All-Stars

While the original Super Mario Bros. All-Stars from the SNES will be available on the Nintendo Switch Online service, a new compilation was revealed featuring the early 3D games from the Nintendo 64 and Gamecube. Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy will be included in the Super Mario Bros. 3D All-Stars bundle on both digital and physical (limited release) versions and will be available on September 18.

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit

Mario Kart is mixing video game and real toy experience with the release of Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit. You can choose from Mario or Luigi as you race against each other or virtual Koopalings with the physical kart toy. The kart will respond to any powerups and attacks as it can slow down or go faster, and you can customize the race track in any way possible. The Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit will be available on October 16 for USD 99.99 per kart.

Super Mario Bros. 35

It’s Super Mario Bros. and Battle Royale mixed together, just like with Tetris 99. You pit against 34 other players in real-time as you race through different levels and dish out nasty attacks on other players by putting all of your defeated enemies to their levels. You can download Super Mario Bros. 35 as a Nintendo Switch Online exclusive on October 1.

There are more promotions happening for the 35th Anniversary up until February 2021, so expect a ton of merchandise and even special events and contents in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario Kart Tour and Splatoon 2.
