Com2uS has opened the official website of its global esports tournament Summoners War World Arena Championship and is recruiting players around the world.

SWC, which is being held for the 5th time this year, is the world tournament of Com2uS’ global hit “Summoners War: Sky Arena (hereinafter Summoners War)”. It has established itself as a representative global esports by breaking its size and records every year. In particular, in the first online tournament held last year due to the COVID-19, it recorded 1.3 million views during the final live streaming of the World Finals, recording the highest number ever.

Based on the successful know-how accumulated over the past years, Com2uS will also hold “SWC2021” in an online format without spectators for the safety of players and spectators. This year, the regional cup finals, regional cups, and world finals will be played in a best-of-five system, allowing players to compete with more sophisticated skills.

Players can sign up to participate through the official website of Summoners War esports from June 16 to 28 at 4 pm KST. Among the applicants, the participating players will be decided based on the results of World Arena Season 16 and 17. The players will go through a preliminary round from late July, 3 regional cups and the World Finals in November, a journey of 4 months in total.

Each of 16 players will be selected from Europe and the Americas and each will be divided into two groups to advance to the quarterfinals. The Asia Pacific region is divided into four groups: Group A (Korea), Group B (Southeast Asia/Oceania), Group C (Other East Asia), and Group D (Japan). 8 players will be selected for each group.

Com2uS has released the entire tournament schedule and various information about the past SWC champions through the newly renewed Summoners War esports official page. The page also offers free downloads of special artworks created for each tournament since 2017. The renewed page has easier and more convenient access for esports fans to learn about the SWC.
