NetEase Games is pleased to announce its plans for Top Clans, one of the largest esports tournament brands in Asia. With upwards of 57 million views on their videos, over 80 competing teams, and five headline game titles in 2020, this hard-working team plans to achieve even more in the coming months and the following year.

Top Clans is a year-long competition for amateur teams. This year Top Clans is taking a grassroots approach to esports with “Top Clans Grassroots” with the purpose of being able to include more players for a longer period of time. Grassroots will launch in multiple countries including the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand and more. Players will be able to join the tournament from their homes while still enjoying the high octane, excitement of the event.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, many gamers and esports fans were forced to stay inside for safety. Top Clans was able to give everyone a chance to show off their love for gaming and esports. With games like Rules of Survival and Tom & Jerry: Chase as well as Tekken 7 and MARVEL Super War, Top Clans achieved enthusiastic praise for their event.

Now, in 2021 they wish to achieve even more and reach those still maintaining passion towards esports. Titles included in this year’s tournament are: Dota 2, Rules of Survival and Tom & Jerry: Chase with a new face added to the roster — Mobile Legend: Bang Bang. Currently, Rules of Survival has started registration in the Philippines while Tom & Jerry: Chase is holding a monthly tournament in order to select the best of the best. More plans will be announced very soon.
