Here’s an awesome collaboration of special edition Nike Dunk High sneakers that have a Gundam treatment.

Sports apparel giant Nike has been doing collaborations with geek culture, whether it’s the recreation of the self-lacing Nike MAG from Back to the Future to PlayStation-themed sneakers with Paul George. This time the upcoming collaboration will be with Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn for Nike SB’s SB Dunk High, Nike SB is Nike’s line of apparel for skateboarding.

Project Unicorn will feature two unique designs of the SB Dunk High featuring the two iconic mobile suits from the popular novel turned OVA. The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam-inspired sneakers will have a White and Amarillo color motif with red accents that recreates the psycho-frame effect. The Banshee-inspired sneakers will also have the psycho-frame effect around the sneakers but with a copper color and will have the Thunder Blue and Metallic Gold color motif. Both sneakers will have a removable Swoosh logo that’s redesigned as a V-fin of the Gundam units.

The Project Unicorn sneakers are expected to be available around summer this year. If you’re both a Gundam fan and sneakerhead, this could be a great addition to your collection.
