Coming off a successful online pilot launch last year, the Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS), arguably the biggest and most attended Esports and Gaming convention in the country is back for its second online installment.   

Despite the pandemic, ESGS continues to explore and maximize online opportunities to connect with its audience, showcasing current trends in gaming and the latest in hardware and other technologies that the industry has to offer.

“Last year, because Gaming Never Stops, we refused to let the pandemic hinder us from creating an online version of ESGS,” said Richard Brojan, CEO of Gariath Concepts. “This year, we continue to build on that and aim to offer even better content and more tournaments that the ESGS fanbase has come to expect over the years.”

Returning in ESGS are Game Room and the Launch Pad. The Game Room focuses on 2021’s trending games while Launch Pad features the community’s favorite video game developers and publishers teasing their upcoming releases.

Aside from being a platform for trending games and esports, ESGS is known to be an avenue for gaining new industry insights. One of the new highlights that patrons can anticipate would be The Gaming Class, ESGS also gives a spotlight on different communities with its Cosplay Competition and Artist Alley. Cosplayers are urged to dress up as their favorite game characters and join the contest, while artists and merchants are being given an opportunity to share their fan merch and gaming-related wares. Additionally, the ESGS Tech Showcase gives various local and international tech and hardware brands a platform to showcase and demonstrate their products.
