WEBZEN announced that its upcoming PC Indie game REMORE: INFESTED KINGDOM will be available to play for free for the duration of Valve’s big Steam Next Fest demo event.
Developed by Black Anchor, a Korean Indie game studio, REMORE: INFESTED KINGDOM is a tactical, turn-based, gothic horror RPG that takes place in a forsaken medieval land where a band of survivors must work together to fend off the coming swarm of Infested.
Players will be getting a free demo, through which they’ll be able to experience around an hour of REMORE’s content during the Steam Next Fest, which is set to run from June 19 through 26, 2023. The game will be available in English and Korean, on Steam for Windows PC.
In the meantime, interested gamers can find out more information and wishlist the game on Steam ahead of the June edition of Steam Next Fest.
The Steam Next Fest version of the game includes a total of three stages, including Blackthorn Village, Monastery, and the tutorial. In this demo version, there will be 3 playable characters – Willam’, the knight errant, ‘Edwin’, the militia and ‘Diurmuid’, an experienced warrior from a foreign land.
The gameplay focuses on exploring the darkness, avoiding being seen by enemies, and detecting noises so as to not be surrounded by a crowd, as well as carefully initiating the fight at the right moment and striking back with various historical weapons such as Arming Sword, Polearm, Billhook and much more.
In addition to the Steam Next Fest announcement, WEBZEN has revealed REMORE: INFESTED KINGDOM’s Steam Next Fest Trailer to showcase an early look at the game, where players can tactically control the battlefield in the mood of a Medieval Apocalypse.
