The Warriors of Light in the Philippines are hosting their own Fan Event to celebrate the Critically Acclaimed MMORPG’s 10-year milestone.
If you are a fan of Final Fantasy XIV and are looking for a place to hang out with fellow Warriors of Light, then look no further as a fan event for FFXVI is happening on July 29, 2023 at the Upper Box event area, Promenade Mall, Greenhills. Hello, World! is a fan event organized by actual fans of the game where the local fandom can have their own event where they can celebrate their love and passion for anything Final Fantasy XIV. Originally called WoLMatsuri (Matsuri means festival in Japanese), the organizers hosted mini gatherings before when they started a sticker exchange campaign at anime conventions, and the popularity grew with more FFXIV fans participating, that’s when they decided to host a dedicated fan event.
Hello, World! will feature a series of activities that are heavily inspired by actual activities in the game. You can expect a photo booth where you can do your Gposes and a Fashion Report segment where contestants will showcase their outfits in a runway fashion walk. There will also be different artists that will be showcasing and selling their fanart and creations ala Marketplace/Crafter’s Alley and other FFXIV-related concepts. You can check the entire list of goodies that you can buy at the event RIGHT HERE.
And of course, they will still be hosting the WoL Sticker Exchange, where the FFXIV player attendees can trade their stickers based on their game avatars with fellow players, which is a way to meet new friends, who knows, you might actually find your new static party for your Savage raids or even form up a new Free Company (that’s the FFXIV version of player guilds).
So if you have secured your tickets for the Hello, World! event, don’t forget that it will be on July 29 at the Upper Box event place in Greenhills. Currently, tickets are sold out for those who want to join the event but you can check their official page for updates on possible new slots.
Reimaru Files is also one of the partners of Hello, World!, you can catch our event coverage during the event and we’ll be sharing news and updates in the days ahead.
