NetEase Games, the developer and operator of titles such as Knives Out and Identity V, will make its first appearance at the Tokyo Game Show 2023, to be held from Thursday, September 21, to Sunday, September 24. On the first day of the show, Thursday, September 21, the company will hold a presentation for the media to announce a completely new game title, unveiling it for the first time to the world. Furthermore, NetEase Games will release new information on various game titles, such as Lovebrush Chronicles and Harry Potter: Magic Awakened, and exhibit content allowing visitors to experience the gaming world.

At the Tokyo Game Show, there will be a stage event featuring voice actors, as well as to announce the release date for Japan at the Tokyo Game Show. Additionally, players can try out the game at the NetEase booth in advance.

 

Harry Potter: Magic Awakened

This card-based RPG game set in a magical world is co-developed and co-published by NetEase Games and Warner Bros. Games. At the Tokyo Game Show, there will be photo spots to allow visitors to experience the game’s worldview.

 

Identity V

An Identity V exhibition match is scheduled for September 24.

 

unVEIL the World

Shueisha Games and NetEase Games jointly developed this action-adventure strategic RPG that features characters designed by the famed manga artist and illustrator Posuka Demizu. Following last year’s introduction of the main character Yuta, another main character will be revealed this year. At the event, a second trailer will premiere for the game, and a video interview with its composer, Hideki Sakamoto. There will be an event to hand out the game’s setting book.

 

Knives Out

A shooting range will be set up at the dedicated Knives Out booth at the Tokyo Game Show. A pro team competition will be held on the stage at the NetEase booth from 14:00 to 16:30 on September 23.

 

Majyo no Furo Life

The game version of Majyo no Furo Life is an RPG for smartphones developed and distributed by NetEase Games based on the IP project of the same name, which is themed around “witches x hot springs x the slow life” by Akatsuki Games. The latest video of the game will be released at the Tokyo Game Show as well and cosplayers will be active at the booth.

 

Never After ~A Twisted Fairy Tale World~

At the Tokyo Game Show, NetEase will be releasing new information about the game and offering demo play opportunities.

 

Where Winds Meet

An open-world action-adventure RPG set in China’s Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. There will be a booth with plans to hand out original swag and allow visitors to try the game.

 

Project Mugen (tentative name)

Project Mugen is the highly anticipated game that has just been announced. It is an urban-based open-world RPG that uniquely blends adventure and supernatural mysteries in a city setting. This free-to-play game will be released for PC, mobile devices, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

 

Spotlight by Quantic Dream

French game developer and publisher Quantic Dream has launched a new publishing label, Spotlight by Quantic Dream, and will be unveiling three of their indie titles: Dustborn, Under The Waves, and Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior. These three titles will be announced at the NetEase Games booth and introduced once a day on the main stage.

 

• Dustborn

Dustborn is a third-person, single-player, story-driven, road trip action-adventure game about hope, love, friendships, robots, and the power of words. At the Tokyo Game Show 2023, visitors will be able to take photos in front of the game’s key artwork. Additionally, game bats, postcards, and posters will be distributed to visitors interacting at the booth

 

• Under The Waves

Under The Waves is a narrative-driven adventure game about the power of grief. Set in the depths of the North Sea in the techno-futuristic 1970s, the game follows Stan, a professional diver, as he struggles to overcome a life-changing loss and embrace a new future.

During the Tokyo Game Show 2023, a special hands-on demo using the PlayStation 5 will be available exclusively on the first day. Additionally, posters of this work will be given out to all visitors.

 

• Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior

The fate of your kingdom, Antala, depends on you! Rewind time and create clones of your past selves to battle with your army. Become a legion, crush hordes of demons, and save Antala! Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior is a hack-and-slash game with a tactical twist.

At the Tokyo Game Show 2023, visitors will be able to take photos in front of the game’s key artwork. Posters will also be handed out to all visitors.
