Hello everyone, so we got invited to the media briefing for what Atlus has in store in the near future, and some of that will involve Tokyo Game Show (TGS)! I’ll spare you the formalities and the song and dance, and get straight to to the point.

Persona

Persona 3 has not only been remade with the unreal engine, but has enjoyed graphic updates in almost every conceivable way. Maps and dungeons are shinier, and more detailed. Character models have a few modifications to match their class more (and also to look a bit cooler). Attacks and casting skills, particularly from Personas, is a lot flashier to look at. And finally, there were some touch-ups and reworks for the soundtracks that played a vital part of the series gaining an avid following.

Persona 3 Reload also boasts of some additions to the game where bonus turns can be passed to other members of the party, to help guarantee a lockdown combo from your team. And even a ‘limit-break’ like function that you’ve seen in Final Fantasy games.

Finally, they’ve shown off a ‘rollback’ feature, which appears to bring the player back to a quick auto-save point, aimed to reduce the frustration of players that forget to save often.

Currently slated for release this coming Feb 2, 2024.

Unicorn Overlord

Unicorn Overlord delicately blends the new and the old into a unique and unforgettable experience. Delve into a rich, immersive landscape with a distinctive battle system that incorporates elements hearkening back to the golden age of 16-bit gaming!

While during the briefing, we were only introduced to 6 characters, Atlus mentions that up to 60 unique characters can be recruited.

Appears to synthesize the old school style of large scale combat, but also will allow you to play through the involved storylines of the feature characters.

Online Multiplayer will be available for this title.

Limited edition set will come with a retro version of the Original Soundtrack (OST) and even its own card game!

Coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch this March 8, 2024!

Persona 5 Tactica

One More, All-Out Attacks, and other familiar features make a return in this newest installment in the award-winning Persona 5 series! Coordinate satisfying combo attacks with your teammates in this tactical RPG. Enjoy a new story set in the Kingdoms, a new realm that the Thieves wander into.

There will also be an additional DLC episode that revolves around the  protagonist, Goro Akechi, and Kasumi Yoshizawa. This DLC will feature different rules, stages, and bosses from the main story.

Coming out for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and even PC this November 11, 2023!
