Webzen announced that its challenging Turn-based tactical RPG, REMORE: INFESTED KINGDOM, has entered its Early Access period.
Developed by Black Anchor, a promising Korean Indie game studio, and published by Webzen, REMORE: INFESTED KINGDOM is now in Early Access for PC via Steam or Epic Games Store for $14.99. Early Access is expected to last six months to one year.
The Early Access release allows players to experience an in-depth tactics RPG along with a tutorial, 7 stages, 14 types, a total of 33 different primary/secondary weapons, 3 playable characters, and 2 types of special trees.
In addition to 3 difficulty levels – Vengeance, Suffering, and Despair – the game includes the “Recurring Nightmare” challenge mode in the Early Access version.
Players will also learn about the stories of the people of REMORE and the threats that they are facing in a medieval apocalyptic infestation. To survive in this desolate world, players must explore locations and collect essential supplies while avoiding the Infested, dangerous creatures that roam the land, slaughtering all in their path. The gameplay is focused on exploring the darkness, avoiding enemies’ detection, and triggering battles at the right moment using a range of historical weapons.
TSignificant improvements are comingwith REMORE: INFESTED KINGDOM’s Early Access, as demo players from last Steam Next Fest were keen to emphasize combat damages. All player characters now have a separate stat called “Armor” in addition to “Health”. The Armor stat will be deducted ahead of Health when taking damage, and fully restored at the end of a battle.
REMORE: INFESTED KINGDOM is now available in Early Access for PC via Steam or Epic Games Store worldwide in English and Korean. WEBZEN later plans to add a new language support that will serve the demand of players worldwide.
REMORE: INFESTED KINGDOM is scheduled to be released in the first half of 2024 the official release version will include a total of 3 chapters, and their REMORE survival story, which spans about 14 stages, will come to an end. In addition, new weapon items, additional weapon characteristics, higher-level character perks, a new way of character growth system, and a new composition of battles will be added so that players can experience wonderful content that was not shown in the early access version.
